omg, Mederma cream n Sineech are 2 different things.

Mederma is a cream for scars.
i bought mine in Guardian in JB, i tink sg should have too. about RM30 for the small tube. Only used it for 2 days so far so cant say much about the result yet.
never too late to change!

Yes it does :)

It has allantoin, vit E and other substances which sort of help to fade scars. Its really useful.

why is it dodgy? u saw pics of it? i thnk he his clinic is a day surgery centre, with a few beds for observation..

also, he charges the cheapest amongst most notable thai P.S.... ( except nara ,that is )

when do yu intend to go?
I don't understand why everyone thinks it's dodgy, i still think Tokai looks quite new for a clinic, and considering that it's in a 3rd world country.

Anyway, Tokai has 4 floors, they've just renovated the 3rd floor. Boii18 is right in assuming that Tokai is better equipped. Tokai has 2 surgery rooms, a holding area for beds for people who just finished their surgery, and a lot of apparatus (which I can only recognise from TV).

Nara is a one level clinic, and has only 1 surgery room, which is why he uses the hospital for surgeries which require GA, like breast implants.

that said, i still believe that the vital part of any surgery is a clean surgery room (which I can attest that both have), and a good surgeon (which i dare declare that Nara is, and still pending results for Dr Pat). The certs and whatnot dun mean a thing unless the results are good, which is why everyone is opting to do it abroad than in sg
Haha. thailand is developing, not an LDC. not too much to worry, esp since bkk is so rich, and is the primate city of thailand.

yeah, after hearing what aadvark says,it put my mind to rest :)

sounds lyk its a 4 storey ambulatory surgery centre.

one thing i wonder tho, if its near any hospital, so that if there is emergency can send to hospital.

will certainly take pics there when i reach xD

i had been using Mederma for the 3rd mth (longer than recommendation on the product leaflet) on the scar for the chin augmentation at nara's, it is not as magical as some ppl claimed lah...it is just healing like any other of my scars...(eg knee ligament surgery)...

it is now a very faint pink line under my chin, which I believe will fade away, into a line like that on the palm...even the ugly stitchings done by the orthopedic surgeon on my knee did not result in any ugly scars on my knee...
but, i will still advise ppl who want to go for chin aug, better to do inside the mouth, altho th risk of infection is higher, but it is better not to have any scar at all...i was just being silly lah, i could not resist the delicious food in thailand and chose to do it under the chin :(

anyway, here is a pic of my chin scar, view from beneath, at 3rd mth now, as reference for anyone who consider a chin job

i took mine out on the 7th, lol! Some recommend 5 days, some recommend 6, i dun think it's a very impt number, so as long as 5 or 6 should be fine...

alar wasn't even very swollen straight after the surgery, just slightly swollen like i was having a flu, and a bit hard to the touch, definitely not obvious to an untrained eye

think within the week, most swelling was gone, but it did continue to shrink after that like ur usual rhino. the lines where the cuts are, are not visible unless you have a slightly upturned nose. mine just had pinkish lines for a while, then formed scabs after 2-3 weeks, not sure why, then they fell off and the lines have been fading since
nw its e 6th day but i stil cant smile properly...still v tight n e base stil quite hard...
any idea hw long do i nid to smile normally? lol
