planning to do dbl eyelids at HY either may or june.. does the cutting mthd involve the removal of fats? for what i know stitching doesn't, hence it's not very effective?
yup, cutting removes fats too... i had dbl eyelids at first, but were getting fatty and making me look sleepy, now i look more bright-eyed, more alert...

to answer the other question, stitching alone may not be permanent

well, many schools of thought on that, ideally the best substance would be your own cartilage.

I think it depends on your doc's skills too, L-implant is considered dangerous because it might cause extrusion, so the doc shld know how much can extend by, and not anyhow extend
Oh i see.. whats the difference between I and L -shape? can't seem to find literature on the net... thanks :) get so nervous cos nearer to tokai surgery!

I have bulbous tip so shd do I or L? ( doing tip and rhino xD )

L shape has an advantage and disadvantage over I. L can extend your tip to make it longer and sharper for that eurasian look, but in the same manner, if not done properly, L can cause extrusion as well, so it's really your call.

Nara does L-shape only, but i think he's quite good at it, so i wun worry too much

haha just one thing, any leisure/shopping/good food in hatyai near lee garden hotel etc to intro?
Lee Gardens Plaza has 7 floors of shopping, cinema etc below it
The sizzler's has fantastic steaks, way better than singapore's
the basement level has good japanese food too.
The adidas store is slightly cheaper than sg as well. you will see shopping opposite the hotel too, so not too bad :)

I would always suggest to stay like 2 nights after the surgery, so you can rest after the surgery, prob wun want to travel in pain and all swollen. And also, in case (choy) anything goes wrong, can go back to let the doc check immediately

Hi Venust, u r also another brave gal...only 20 yrs old right? I'm also quite keen on otoplasty but still thinking if i shld do it. I just did my dbl eyelids so will not go into another thing so soon. I went to PAI and asked abt otoplasty too, doctor said surgery last for abt 1 hr and have to wear headband to 'bend' the ears behind while sleeping, so that the ears wont go back to shape. it cost US1180 at PAI. How much is Dr Nara charging?

I m interested to hear & see your after procedure picture. how's ur ears now? v protruding?

Venust, wow! 6000 baht is so cheap!!!! even cheaper den my dbl eyelids, i paid $950 for it coz i did in bkk...didnt wana go hatyai.

Now im SO tempted...haha! My eyelids r not so swollen now. Not pain at all...doc say it will slowly drop down & look natural in 1-3 mths time, depends.

So u only staying less den 1 week? I reckon u r still studying so u dun have to take leave right? For me i have to take leave, tink if i disappear from work again so soon..my boss wl kill me..lol.

Do update me on all the procedure when u r back den i will consider again. Now i dun tie my hair coz i wana hide my ears!...not v nice coz they r not small like yours. hehe.
