Btw, can anyone enlight me on the procedues for jaw implant? Is it to achieve longer jaw or what? :???:

Hey snowss im oso interested in doing cheek implants leh... but i maybe not going to nara's for that ... becos i wanna do medpor implants with screws to secure the implant ( at dr chuang ) so that it will not tend to move as much as silicone =) how about you?

EDIT: sigh ... im now in a dilemma. I emailed dr nara and he quoted me S$700 for both sides ... but done with goretex ( i dunno how stable it is compared to chuang's method =/ ) . very tempting lo ... compared to chuang's S$4000 quote...
Wah screws...sounds painful leh*ouch*

Cheek implants maybe in another 3-4mths later....after my nose have recovered slightly then..

Anyone here done cheek implants with Dr Nara? ANy testimonials??

so glad to hear from you! :D i'm going to get my jaw implants done this march, and i was contemplating to do at tokai, but what was holding me back was the lack of testimonials from tokai so far cos you and I are the first 2 in the forum to have done it there! lol :D

my lipo has healed quite nicely, and now that i know that your nose has recovered properly, i feel so much safer to go there for some more procedures...

Dr Pat just replied my mail and ask me to send him sample pics to show him what i want, oh goodie :D
i'm gog to tokai this fri to do my buccal fat removal and face lipo... it does help to hear some good testimonials... now i'm definitely looking forward to it! :)

if the healing process goes well, i'm tinking of doing rhino at tokai too! after i get my march salary.. hee hee...

when r u intending to do ur jaw implants? u coming with anyone?

haha, was in a dilemma between tummy and jawline... in the end, i think i shall go for jawline, cos more visible, i shall hide my tummy with clothes first, lol :D

I twisted Dr Pat's arm and made him give me the jaw implants and buccal fat pad removal at only 40k baht, must do now in case he raises the price!

The problem is my nose feels kinda hard....is it becoze of the swelling thats why it's hard...Or permanently like tat?? Now even laughing seems painful :?

I heard frm friends tat theirs after recovery feels like their real nose

may consider lipo at Dr Nara, will have to ask him for the cost... if you are on a shoestring budget, dr nara is the guy for you, he's got lots of experience (used to be in hospital, now has own clinic; published many PS papers). What he's done for my and my frens (and their mums, hehe) so far quite natural :)

a quick pricelist check for dr nara:
======================
Eyelids (cutting & stitching) - 6000 baht (edited)
Nose implant - 8000 baht
chin implant - 8000 baht (edited)
alarplasty - 2000 baht
eyebag removal - 6000 baht
lipo (per area) - 10000 baht (edited)
breast augmentation - 43000 baht (edited)
dimples (per) - 2000 baht (edited)

[8000 baht ~ SGD380, 6000 baht ~ SGD280, 2000 baht ~ SGD95]
Thanks a lot for the informative post

terrible friends, they should give u a proper timeline rather than just tell u the conclusion...

it's natural to feel tight and hard and a little painful to the touch, this is because ur skin has been stretched out and will take a while to settle... if u read most websites, they will usually write full recovery takes anywhere between 6 mths to a year...

so only if a year later, ur nose still feels hard, then u shld suspect something is wrong...

in the meanwhile, for the next half a year, u might still see ur nose shrinking bit by bit... and recover to the point where u can push ur nose up and do a pig nose, then u have totally recovered (dun try it now, doing a pig nose so soon is really gonna hurt!)

Hah, so glad to hear that...I guess I m being paranoid  No pig nose till much later...now if I gently touch also painful [-X

I just had my stitches removed today...I did it at a polyclinic. At 1st the doctor refused to remove it for me, coze she suspected tat it's dissolvable.

She said in Spore those dissolvable stitches is transparent(like what I am having)...those non-dissolvable is blue or black coloured. She even made me sign the agreement form saying if anything happen dun blame them

But the thing now is....I still have stitches inside my nostils, near the tip of the nose...do I have to remove tat???

Guess the polyclinics really quite kiasi, think we should get it done at GPs, they run their own clinic, and not as scared to get into trouble...

The stitches inside the nostrils are dissolvable. Just clean the wound in your nostrils with the alcohol that Nara has given you on a daily basis. Those stitches will dissolve in a few weeks.

Hi all,

I'm very new to this Forum, as well as to PS... i have in fact made an appointment with Pete in thailand4cosmeticsurgery.com to do Lasik n check up on my cosmetic surgeons in May.. i hav intended to do double eyelids (does it include enlarging my eyes?), permanent eyelash extension, higher nose, fuller lips, face n body lipo, as i hav always been fat n very Asian-looking, all in the month of August, if i could save enough by then.. Pete has offered to search the better yet not-so-ex docs for me, n we have concluded on having all the surgeries at Samitivej Sriracha Hospital in Pattaya, except for Lasik at Bangkok Hospital.. my qn is hav u gals heard of these 2 docs, Dr. Somchai Trakoolshokesatian and Dr. Somchai Pattana-Anek? i have googled for them n they seem rather well-known.. juz wanna find out more abt PS in Thailand n any views on my trip or surgeries? Thanks! n hear frm u gals soon!
