most of his email answered by his nurse, so sometimes she not very clear wan... nope, dun think he will send u any b4 after pix...
hi aadvark, thanks for always being so helpful
:)

i just got my reply from the nurse, and like you mentioned shes not very clear.
though i asked her 8 questions, she only answered 1, lol

she quote 10,000bht for one area.

i wanted to know what lipo method did nara use, and weather there were extra costs for garments.
or if nara does radio frequency at all.

my fren is going next month for lipo and breast aug, so i can have the info for you once she returns, since u not going till end of yr :D

my fren was quoted 10,000 baht for one area too, so better do those areas which is extra fatty, more worth it, lol! a lot of places charge per amount/litre i think...

I wanted my nose reshaped badly. But i couldnt afford to pay high costs. I'd checked with YanHee and guess what, they charged me at 1k plus which is ard SGD 3k**(wonderin they anohow qoute or what :? ). Not including the tickets and stays.

Would love to know about Dr Nara more; And I see some of ya here had had an encounter with for his surgery before. Mine share the picture before and after?

And just wondering after the nose surgery, will the nose become natural back? As in if you accidentally bang into something not hard but will cause yr nose to bend in a lil, would it gone out of shape? :-|

I've got round tip nose and dislike it lot, I'd always try to find a nice angle to take picture in order not to show my much of my obvious fatty nose :(

I'll email him base on the 2nd page you left for us and mostly likely would love to go there ard CNY time in order to save on my leave yeah

anyone willing to go together?
yanhee's quote is quite consistent for most places, even local; Nara is one of the odd places which does it so cheap, which is why i recommended him...

Nara doesn't do all sorts of surgeries tho, so some things will still have to be done elsewhere... hence i am seeking ppl to go with me to yanhee! :D

hi aadvark

wats the diff between jaw implant and chin?

How much do DR nara charge for Dimple and Breast Aug? he dont do cutting mtd for eyelids?

My gf did stitching mtd. natural but it didnt even last her for 2 years and her eyes seems more droopy than before.

honestly, im very curious and skeptical abt the pricing, if not the skill, Charge too high ppl complaint, too low and they doubt! unless u tell me he is doing these out of his own interest and pleasure.

Thot of dragging my bf to go for lipo. Guess risk for lipo is lower and see if we could go further from there.
reckon he have 10 over areas to cover.

anyone did breast aug? pls kindly share more with ur experiences

thanks

vic

vicky, lipo is one of the most risky procedures in cosmetic surgery healthwise cos the body homeostasis is disrupted - like when u r 80kg, u have a certain amount of fats, muscle, etc, ur heart pumps at a certain rate, the body is a contained thing, when u suddenly remove fats, things like blood pressure, etc can change suddenly.

In other cosmetic surgery, being knocked out (under ga ) seems to be the only big risk to life.

yup, lipo is def more risky! esp since lipo areas are usually so near the vital organs, easier for complications!

haha, vicky, i dun blame you for not trusting... i din too when i heard the price! You have to know someone who's done it there before, best if it's a fren, then u can scrutinise the work :D

My dbl eyelids def got diff, i used to have sleepy eyes... now more alert...

gosh i'd hate it if it disappears after 2 years and i have to do again! it was the area which took the longest to heal!

i recall dimple is 6000 baht, breast aug is 20,000 baht, you have to confirm with him again...

curiously, me and my frens had a long discussion on why it's so cheap cos we couldn't figure out why too... here are some absurd theories:

1) he owes loan sharks and is using quantity at lower prices to raise the money

2) some Buddhist karma thing, and he wants to make the world a more (literally) beautiful place

3) he is using stolen/pirated implants

well, guess u have to ask him urself :D

I think its cos it is in Hatyai, i have visited Hatyai many many times .Even before the rest of Thailand have become commercialised because ALOT of ang moh go Bangkok, Hatyai has Always been very cheap compared to bangkok. and Hatyai tourism has on and off been affected by the turmoil in the south of thailand. I think the best way of gauging a doc's skill is by personally scrutinising his work. even pics cant tell that well i think. I would like to have gone to Hatyai rather than jb to do my surgery but the journey really put me off.

Hi aadvark, Nice to hear your double eyelid looks nice, ya will suck to go through the pain of the surgery and not have good results. I went to an sg doc for consultation before and the before and after pictures i saw were not impressive. I guess that was why i was not compelled to do it there and then. I think i would have gone to Hatyai to do my surgery if i had more parts to do. Would be more worth it, hotel, experience and timewise etc. but i was thinking im only doing alaplasty go all the way there and have to stay so long.
