Deleting a thread

As the author of a thread, do i have the options to delete it forever?
just curious.

Only if nobody else has posted. If that happens you can delete you text except for placeholder "deleted" or somesuch. It will still be your nick in the initial post and if you were quoted even if you delete yours it will not disappear in the message that quoted it.

However, if warranted, admin or even Mods have that ability. What will normally happen is the thread will just be locked, that way those posters who were jerks in the thread will always be there so other posters can beware of these pervs/perps/trolls.
