Question on EP. Will I get my EP?

Post by rkenge » Wed, 27 Jun 2007 8:13 am

Hello all

I have a degree in Electronics engineering. Expereince of 10 years in Industrial automation PLC's, HMI, SCADA programming. What are the chances that I will get EP. Are the above mentiooned skills special in Singapore or there are enough locals with these kind of skills.

I have got a job in Singapore, the company has applied for my EP, the message we got from MOM is it will take 3 weeks for the outcome. Is this a good sign or not.

I am just trying to set my expectations right. Any comments /answers will be welcome.

Thanks

They always say 3 weeks... usually less. I think you will be just fine. If your company applied online and your university is on the recognized list, could have in as little as 48 hours.

Your company will have been issued an application number and date and you will have been issued a FIN. With either of these you can check status of an EP online.
