Indian Chartered Accountant with over 9 years experience

Hi,

I am a chartered accountant with over 9 years post qualification experience. Presently working as an "Assistan Manager" in a manufacturing company based in Dubai for the past four years. My present salary works out be little above USD 4000 per month. Exploring the possibilities of moving to Singapore. Being a bachelor, I am able to save USD 2800 per month. As a I am planning to get married the saving potential may come down drastically due to higher accomodation rents out here in Dubai.

Just wanted to have suggestions as to whether the decision would be wise to relocate & if yes, what amount of salary a chartered accountant with over 9 years exp can command in Singapore job market.

Depends if Singapore needs chartered accountants; I vaguely remember reading there is plenty of local skill available in this area. Hopefully somebody living in Singapore can be more specific.

You might get 6~7K SGD on a local package if you are lucky. I guess it depends on why you want to come here. Are you looking for PR or money?
