Sorry ChixChix.................

But they were your words and not ours. How did you expect us to react to somebody that says they do not give their employee a day off without explaining themselves? Does a maid coming from one country make her less human than coming from another country?

It would behoove you to read your posts using the preview button before hitting the submit button. Even then I often stick my foot in my mouth.

That is your explanation?? You truly are clueless.

SMS, this isn't an editing error that can be corrected by re-reading a post. This is clearly a human right violation, pure and simple. It is disgusting that this is offered up as an excuse. Just disgusting.

The problem is you are 'educated' by those who have perpetuated this type of thinking through generations. The proper comparison has nothing to do with North Indian maids vs. South Indian maids and has everything to do with fair treatment vs. taking advantage.

Then go to the agency and tell them you want a change.

The agency in first place is a total disaster...I had to take this maid as I had no other choice but to have some stop gap arrangement as I had alrdy exhausted my leave searching a maid. The agency don't have many profiles and they would want me to try some other inexperienced maid and I will go thru the same trauma again...

I really don't think because of my personal experience I should publicly announce the name of the agency which I found not to my expectations. Sorry, I don't think it is right on my part to do that...anyways, this question doesn't hold any relevance to my present requirement..unless you are from Casetrust and you could help me gain out out of the same agency.

Hi there, my first maid was a North Indian. She went back after working 3 years for me. Then I got a Sri Lankan. Food became an issue. She had to learnt all about North Indian food from scratch. I found it hard to teach her because I am not good either.

Also, she found it hard to communicate in English with my kids. I transferred her and got my own Punjabi maid. Now I got no headache, In fact I got her from Megabiz Employment. I told the staff there that I did not want to get into a headache of having to change maids again. So i am happy at what I have.

if you are interested and want the number ,let me know. :)
