Just to update u guys, I got kicked out on the 1st round. I am so short that I didn't get get to reach 212cm arm reach! Keke...

Hi Woodstock and all those who went to the interview today....

haiz i was out of the 1st interview too.....so sad...But seriously i dunno why...,i think it is the reach test for me.....as while waiting for the results, they ask me to go in to try for the reach test again...i can just touch it...just nice.....I just find it weird...why of all 15 people, there are quite a few who cannot reach it, why ask me to try again only???? But anyway i think my reach is just not enough for them ba..... I am 162-163cm lor.....haiz.....

Don't be disheartened for those who did not get in. There is always SIA tmr! Anyway, how was the turnout like? anyone care to share their experience?

hmm..weird. for my group, we did not do the reach test. those who got in attended a 2 and half hours long briefing.

Its the same as the prev recruitment i think. Group discussion of 10-12 followed by elimination , then briefing.

Hi All,

Well i got eliminated too... but honestly i dont know why... this is not my first Emirates interview and all my previous tries i had passed through..
But well its always hard to say, depending on the individual who chooses...
What i mean is Ann & Andrew...... I noticed from yesterdays group of people who got through..... Most of them had the height and most of them came for the interview dressed casual, and with least make up..... But i believe that only works for Emirates coz if u r gonna try Qatar or Etihad u hafta go for the interview well groomed....

Anyway, those who did not get through... try Etihad on th 21/7 and also Qatar on the 28/7............... Good Luck Peeps

Hi everyone

A friend of mine tried for the first time yesterday and made it thru the 1st round... and she could barely reach 210cm...

Anyway, dun be disheartened, prob they wanted more new faces to face the emirates recruiters...

maybe they are really strict this time.
well there isnt any introduction from them but after taking the height we proceed to a room where ann and andrew were and they simply gave 10mins for a group discussion to agree who is our top5 super heroes

totally blew my mind off as i didnt expect that coming at all.
there were girls that spoke well that didnt get in and some that sat there quietly got in,so tell me pwople what are they looking for???

Hey for the Emirates interview....i also got the same topic......wondering if they ask the same topic for everyone or wat...i was the 2nd last batch..at 3pm+.and you???

from wat I knoe the first selection done by Andrew is 100% on physical aspect...basically first impression coz I ever asked them what is their selection based on. Thati s why those who kept quiet, talk too much or less sometimes still get in as the first 10 mins its hard to select based on personality.

Hmm...I remembered my time those who dress slopishly got cut immediately at the 2nd round onwards as 2 ladies frm Emirates will start selecting at round 2 onwards.

Usually they can ask u those out of the blue questions like such as...

1. Plan a birthday party, list down 5 celebraties u wld invite n y?

2. You are given a task to built n start out a new country at a planet, who wld u bring frm earth frm this list n y...model, engineer, doctor, housewife...etc

3.Share ur most embarassing moment n y u wana be a crew for Emirates.
