if you don't want to limit yourself to only SIA, i think silkair would be a huge benefit for you. after that, like i said, if you not only have SIA in mind, you can try other carriers who pay equally as good as SIA with that experience. in this line of field, any experience is still considered great. good luck dilemma gal!

It's a case of a dog with a bone looking at a reflection. If you don't want Silkair, then don't take it and give it someone else who wants it more then you.

I seriously don't have much respect for you. Go through all the rounds, get the job, deprive others of that job and now ponder "Do I want this? I don't think I want? I think elsewhere better"

If I was the recruitment officer for that day, your fate would be sealed. I would blacklist you. Can you imagine how much time it and manpower it took to organise open days, screening days, interview you, select you and then you suddenly go Ahem......

Terrible.

Sorry if I sound brutal. It's just a wake up call.

i have a friend who did abt the same too, she got into dubai and went there, but finally sia called her and she quit emirates and return to sing. i guess its up to a person choice, yup true that they maybe creating trouble for other but at the same time, it all so humanly, its normal for us to hope to have something better? the can get to chose.. thats their luck.

This is amongst the points I have so often tried to raise in this thread which has no bearing on whether I work in the industry or not. My point being people should think, plan and prepare. I am old enough to know only too well where I went wrong with many things including of course job applications and hence I would hope my experience would prove useful. However, there are so many in this world who just will not listen.....................

It depends on ur own luck i think..... cos one of my batchgal in silkair was being pinched on her butt and did not dare to voice out during the flight on her first training flight, which was a long time ago..... as for me, i've not been touched by any pax since i started flying....

As for my experience in Silkair, it's the Asian culture i hate most......

The seniors have all the right to shout at u and demand u to do things their way......
funny - actually if it simple 'brush over' I think its fine. most gals wud have felt flattered (although can't say aloud), or to be asked out. few wud dare touch sensitive areas unless they go 2 galley or meet u at the lavatories but even then, most will avoid all these

I wonder if all dez talks about zapping is real or over emphazied? in sch orientation we also got 'bullied' b4 why no one complains? anyway, if ur supervisor has a bad history, its not good for her either ...
