Eggs Benedict - where to find?

Post by SwingMonkey » Fri, 15 Jun 2007 3:14 pm

Folks,

Where's the best Eggs Benedict in town? I've not seen around much - found at Riccioti at Riverwalk, is OK, but am looking for alterntaives.

Cheers :)

You can try this place in the basement of Palais Renaissance...not sure what it's called...it's run by Marmalade Pantry..so maybe the same name?

Menotti at Raffles City has them, I witnessed my friend devour a plate, he seemed to enjoy it very much.

Thought most of the cafes (that server b'fast) woud have it??? :? or is it just my expectation?

Tried at the little cafe around Robertson quay area...nothing special, how special you want your egg benedict to be?

Try the Curduroy Cafe in VivoCity. A bit pricy, but very nice indeed! :)

Brewerkz has it on sunday am.

marmalade pantry is prolly the best that i've had.

egg mcmuffin is a fried egg. eggs benedict is a poached egg. i prefer poached egg or sunny side up when give preference....

Unfortunatley not able to get a side order of mushrooms (yes, I know not "traditional" eggs benedict :)

I second that - though I have only been to the other outlet Courduray and Finch on Upper Bukit Timah Rd.

Absolutely the best I have eaten anywhere can be found at the Choupinette, a small neighborhood restaurant on Bukit Timah, just past Coronation Plaza. Yummy.
