That's a load of crap. You, obviously hang out with the wrong crowd. And generalising, my dear, is a mark of stupidity.
FYI, I'm not a Singaporean, so don't even go there.
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Thanks for clarifying things! Windy..? I'm not sure about the other parts of SG but there were times it was windy near the office (around the Harbourfront area). Well, better not wear the kilt around this area then.

Having read the post from Jessi about DATING SCENE FOR WESTERN WOMEN lets open one for men.
Being Scottish, 24 and moving to Singapore in August after spending 1 month in HK, I intend on meeting many people in Singapore as I am permantly moving there.
I know there is a large expat community but how welcomed are we from the Locals? and what is the average age of an expat?
Open, and Honest opinions please!
Ian
I'm surprised that you have this problem in SG.

searcher2006,
If you are going to quote authors, you should at least get the quote correct so you don't look like a pretender or pseudo-intellectual.

Hey SMS, is anything being done at your end to resolve this newbie's posting just to gain their potental to PM the same day. You should probably look into a date restriction as well .. for instance if newbies get to PM only after say 2 weeks etc.
I find many of us are wasting our energies on newbies who never even show up.
Cheers!!!
