hey2! no worries.. i'm doing the contract teaching for 1 year first.. so gonna spend that one year to lose weight and trying out for SIA at the same time.. if that plan fails, then i'm gonna give up on being an air steward and stick to teaching i guess...

Teaching got bond what... u can wait nong nong to try SIA again.

oh yes tell me all abt it....I actually rejected Emirates last yr for teaching n now doin my contract teaching b4 signing the bond. I then decided to quit teaching coz first of all the workload is overwhelmin n its not easy to juggle ur 40 kids with the tones of markings n paperwork to do. N tinkin tat the 5yr bond by then I be 30, I know I can never try for SIA again. But I was extremely lucky, in the midst n thoughts of quitin my contract teaching I tried for SIA at the 8th times n I finally got it! I really hope this time round I haf no regrets . So I surely advise, if ur torn between the 2 go for contract teachin first, do not sign the bond yet. Go on experience n then decide at least while ur contract u can still try for SIA n quit teaching.

i don't mean to sound discouraging but during my WCT, i had asked the HR lady whether it was true we had to wait 6 mths if we didn't pass mgmt. She replied it was and the reason being they want to give time for us to improve or learn new skills before applying again. So far, i have not known anyone whom tried out before the 6 months is up.

Please don't give up dear!

well, there have been people who do try out before the 6mths is over and they do manage to make it thru, but then there are also those who get kicked out.

best is to wait it out, go and try other airlines, do other things, get more customer service experience, and then try again.

i'm sure you have what it takes babe! you made it to the final round for JAL too right!

Hie eddia, im from the 18th mgt round.. still waiting for my call.
it's my 12th day of waiting. my fren hu's in the same group have started her training on the 24th. ahh. im feeling so anxious.

I just feel so left out.

I mean hearing tt many from the 18th mgt has gotten their training dates or already started their training.. yea.. wen will i get my call.
