Getting angry might only flare up the pimples and may cause even more, it might be hard for u to remain cool but you gotta try. Alternatively you can try applying grated cucumber to yr face which cools down facial heat and may minimize the pimples 8-)

Use Clearasil. Extremely effective for pimples.

Hi all :D ,

I have been reading this forum for quite some time... I have read all about the requirements of SIA. They seems to be very strict.

I really wish to go for the interview, but kind of wanna backout as i have crooked teeth...very crooked...but u can't see it clearly unless i laugh out loud, i have super dark rings and can see the fine lines when i put on thick concealer....

And i think i am a bit too chubby....i am 163cm and 54 kg.... I have super huge arms...so during the swim test i think i will definitely be gone even if i can go through the kebaya...... can see the huge arms lor...somemore to make it worse..i have some dark patches on my right arms near the shoulder there like pigmentation prob.............

To defeat my morale even more, i am having some skin problems recently due to PMS...and i am down with coughn sore throat n fever.... :x

God is trying to stop me from going i guess........

i am so sad :(....can anyone tell me whether should i just go and create a fool out of myself????

To me I am not flawless as well. I have big arms, slightly chubby. I have dar circles. Plus I am short. But I decided to go anyway, and I am in. So don't worry. I would rather have tried and failed rather than not trying and always think to myself "What If..."

Well... GO FOR IT!!! Juz do whatever you can... Most Importantly, SMILE, Be Confident & be yourself...

I mean even if you didn't manage to get in this time, take it as a learning experience and improve yourself.

Coming intake will be my 5th attempt...
Soaring above all

Singapore Airlines Recruitment on 15 July 2007

Post by lefthanded » Thu, 12 Jul 2007 3:33 pm

Hello everyone,

I am thinking of going for the SIA interview on 15 July 2007 but after reading all the posts I have half the mind of letting it pass... Sounds like it's going to be real tough...

Actually I would really like to give it a try so before I convince myself to give up instead, I would really appreciate some advice... :D

How is the interview conducted? Is it in a group? or solo? what if I don't have the requisite educational qualifications? Do they really require them? Will they ask for it?

The interview is in 3 days' time, please help me!!

There are a few rounds. Some will be done in a group, some will have more than 1 interviewers/appraisers. Just look through the forum, you can find many answers on how each individual round is conducted.

I know they asked for a copy of my educational certs before the kebaya fitting, before my water confidence test and before my mgmt round. They need a photocopy of the scroll not just the transcripts. So bear that in mind yeah? :)

Thank you so much DeeeNah!! But I guess it only further confirm that I shouldn't be going at all... I don't think they will let it pass on those certs right? Sigh...... :(

HI lefthanded,

not to disheartened u but I witnessed this situation b4. A girl in the queue was told to leave coz she did not haf any 'O's, I felt for her coz knowin tat she queued for hrs n had to leave w/o any chance given was heart wrenching. So I guess they r very particular on the qualification entrance BUT I do have a fren who did not haf any 'O' level n she is flyin with SIA right now. She just got in recently, her situation was diff, she felt v.lucky coz only with Nitec Ceritificate with the local ITE, she was recommended frm her previous employer Silkair to switch to SIA. This was possible cause she's been flyin with Silkair for 5yrs and had an excellent work conduct n attendance. She's one wit the lucky ones I guess, maybe her experience n gd conduct was an exception case for her.
