German Dragons - grab a paddle and join!

Post by Singa_Vera » Thu, 14 Jun 2007 10:35 am

Hi all!

We are an international dragonboat team, united by an extraordinary sporting spirit, great friendships and shared activities. We have members of diverse nationalities and races!

We are always on the lookout for new members. If you would like to try Dragon boating for the first time or if you are a experienced paddler, you are welcome to join our team. New members enjoy their first month of paddling without obligation. Come and try Dragon boating with the German Dragons - it is sure to be an experience you won't soon forget! After training we get together at the beach of Kallang for a beer. We also do regular BBQs at Kallang River and brunches at Paulaner (our main sponsor), and many more activities! \:D/

Check out our website at http://www.germandragons.sg/

All are welcome! Hurry up! The next raaces are coming up soon!

If you have question about or need more information regarding the German Dragons Singapore, please contact Anne at captain@GermanDragonsSingapore.org

Hope to see you soon at one of our trainings!

Hi,

The New Paper may be interested to talk to groups or teams of people like yourselves, who play recreational sports.

Does your group have an interesting history, background or colourful characters, unique match rituals and habits?

Do you have a team with many nationalities or veterans over 50?

Anything else interesting?

Please contact us with your story and contact details, including handphone, to npsports@sph.com.sg with the subject name "pris: weekend warriors."

The most interesting will be interviewed.

Thanks.
The New Paper
