En Bloc victim? Lets discuss...

Post by solarv » Mon, 11 Jun 2007 9:00 pm

Are you a tenant staying in an 'en bloc sales' apartment?
This is really ridiculous...en bloc here en bloc there....Where am I supposed to stay???

My building is going for en bloc sales, its only a 10yr old building...fine, I will move out...but dang, all the other buildings in my area are going for en bloc sales soon as well...
FYI, 8 out of 10 private apartments in orchard area are going for en bloc sales...sick...

Today, I passed by this Far East apartment, it's all vacant...looks freaking scary...you can actually walk into those vacant apartment units...and stay in there...crazy....

The developers want to build new buildings to ride the trend of property price.

I'm staying in one such apartment, but im rather glad its going en bloc cos its going to fetch us quite a fair bit of Vitamin Ms.

The drawback? they keep raising the price and nothing is done...
