Job chances for a fresher in Data Networks?

Post by devil_xyz123 » Sun, 10 Jun 2007 7:15 pm

Hello all....

I have a bachelors degree from Pakistani University and I've been offered admission for MSc in NTU. My experience is less than a year and I have CCNA certification. I might take a couple of more exam certifications by the time I finish MSc.

How would you people rate my chances of getting a job in Singapore by the time I finish my MSc? What offer would be best for me?

Kindly help...
Thank you.

You would do well to try to worry about your M.Sc first. Lots can change before you finish (if you finish). None of us here have crystal balls to be able to see into the future with any sort of accuracy. Having a M.Sc with NUS will probably make entry into the local workforce much easier even without much experience to speak of. Certifications and degrees alone only tell me that you have the ability to learn and the ability to take tests and nothing more. I would say it would put you on equal footing with a local as with the local MSc the government will probably offer you an EPEC or Landed PR if you want it.

Good luck.
