Recommendation on doctors, especially dermatologist

Post by mikek » Sun, 10 Jun 2007 7:31 am

We've been in Singapore for one week and already needing to find a doctor.

Can anyone recommend a good dermatologist?

My 6 year old has this chronic problem of warts on the bottom of her foot. We'd like to find a doctor than can assist in their removal.

If you have any other ideas for general practitioners, that would also be appreciated. We're living in the Orchard area for two months and then moving to The Woodlands in August.

Thanks, Mike

We've been going the International Medical Clinic in Tanglin Shopping Center (not Tanglin Mall - but the older looking place closer to Orchard Road) since we moved here.

My husband and I have both been to Dr. Kwan and been really pleased. My son has been to Dr. Snodgrass (don't laugh - that's really his name!) and both my kids see Dr. Loh (pediatrician).

I've been extremely pleased with our medical care there - although they are quite busy - but will try to fit you in if there is an emergency.

Hi,

One of my sons has really bad excema. I brought him to KK Hospital to see the specialist at the cleft and craniofacial clinic. They are really very good. You could get a referral from any doctor.

Try Joyce Clinic at Paragon. Heard she's good!

I also see Dr. Joyce Lim at Paragon Medical Centre and she's great. You may not need a dermatologist in your son's case, though. I bet one of the good doctors at International Medical Clinic can take care of it.

Best of luck.
