which part of town in particular? and what sort of wine/which regions are you interested in ?

Close by the wineconnection shop, I think there is another one in the UE square.

The Moomba is at the Raffles, closest to work for most of us (if we happen to work IN TOWN)

I've only been to Moomba and Wineconnection, not bad, good variety. Thought Carrfour and Coldstorage are not bad too.

Wine Shop in Town

There is a very niche wine shop at Tudor Court. It is just next to Tanglin Mall shopping centre.Address: Bottles & Bottles, 131 Tanglin Road. Their prices are very attractive. Cheers

Thanks Guys, found this website www.barworks.com.sg/wines

Not too bad, but they have a minimum 6 bottles for home delivery. Spotted my fave grower - Shaw & Smith! Lovely sauvignon blanc.

Will check out your recommendations as well, thanks Brown, KCL & Bon bon.

ì have found the two outlets on dempsey road to be very pleasing to both wallet and tastebuds, not local i realise, but its a pleasure going there, cheese plate , wine list and then box em up and take home, wine fsctory is best for reds and wine garage is best for whites.... enjoy!'

Hi wahodges, Where is wine factory? At dempsey as well? Wine grange is at Clarke Quay if I can recall.

Like to share a lovely wine I drank recently. Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc from NZ Marlborough. Good crisp, nice color with some hints of melon :)
Another was the Angoves Mclaren Vale Shiraz from Australia. It was like drinking a Bodied Cab Sau with that typical Peppery & spicy character of the Shiraz Grape. Interesting!

if you're working right in town - Shenton Way, then there's Hermitage Wines to check out too - shop & wine bar in a quiet cosy setting.

it's located at One Marina Boulevard, NTUC Centre, #B1-04.

sorry i don't have their contact number with me now... anyway it's just a stroll from Raffles Place MRT via the underground links :)
