social pass to work permit

Post by KORE » Fri, 08 Jun 2007 10:18 am

we are holding social passes while waiting for our EP and dependents passes and same as our domestic helper from hong kong as i need to finalize our relocation here and get familiar with the place. i need my domestic helper because i have a 1 year old baby and i just had a miscarriage and havent really recuperated physically (and sometimes emotionally!)

i will sponsor my dh's work permit and I would like to get some tips from any of you who is in a similar state than me. is $1500 agency fee resonable here (it includes her airfare coming over). I am scheduling her to leave for her hometown after three weeks of being here and is it fine that she goes out alone with us? (Sorry if i sound stupid ha!)

Thanks for any advice!
