school holidays, places to go for kids

Post by ladynic » Sun, 03 Jun 2007 7:04 pm

I have 3 children and looking for places to bring them to this month. Where is everyone going?

I was looking at Science Centre they are offering group bookings for $9.50 for kids and $14 for adults. Anyone with lots of kids wanna join? it include entry and imax movie.

Any other places to keep the kids busy?

Hi,

I have four kids, but two of them are kinda too young for outings!! Usually I will take my two elder boys they are 7 and 5 to see the shows at Shopping centres. Every school holidays most of the shopping centres like IMM, Raffles city, Novena etc will arrange kids shows. They are free and usually the only requirement is if you want a picture with the characters you either need to be early and line up as they are limited numbers or buy at least $30 worth of stuff anywhere in the centre and collect a pass from the information counter. Currently I did notice IMM is having Justice League shows. Other then that, you can go to Wild Wild Wet, ( a water park), its at Downtown East in Pasir Ris. entry is like $15 per adult and $10 per child above 3, adults over 55 are free. Thats lots of fun, or Escape theme park also at Downtown East, same pricing, (its an amusement park with rides etc). Downtown East is in Pasir Ris just incase u dont know!
Actually there are a lot of things to do with kids here, the beach, East Coast parkway, riding bikes or skating, they also have a small theme park there with some games and rides. I hope this is helpful. But if you are planning some get together for a kids outing, let me know! I would love to join in. My email is [email protected]
