Laser, chemical peel at Kalo?

Postby big-eyes-maymay » Thu, 18 Oct 2007 2:24 pm

Hi guys and yen,

thanks for all the info shared. By the way, I was reading until page 16, and it seems there's only info on eyes and nose.

Anybody done laser or chemical peel? Please share if you do. Thinking of getting one, heard it takes away freckles and make your skin much smoother.

Thanks~!

I am getting the double eyelid surgery next summer '08. I hve wayyy too much fat in upper eyelid and bags under my eyes. BUTTT: i have double eyelids (sorta) you just cant see em too well cuz of the fat in my eyelid: here is my eye!

OK so my question is! I want some of you girls to tell me what kinda eyelid eye I should ask for, based on what I have now! I want as dramatic an eyelid as I can without lookin silly  Should I get the low, medium, or high -- assuming I get my eyelid fat taken out? Should I get my corners cut?

Thanks girls!! :D

your eyes are pretty in its natural state, maybe you dun really like oriental eyes thou u have one of the better oriental eyes i have seen.
typical oriental "problems", abit of concentration of fats and excess skin plus epicantal fold skin at the inner corners of the eyes. if u really wanna do a natural looking job yet maintain the oriental looking eyes, i suggest maybe go for trimming of the excess skin on the eyes and epicanthoplasty. removal of fats is best determine by the doctors as removal of too much fats may result in difficult or impossible revision later on. oh yes, removal of excess skin will require Cutting, stitching will not give the desired result) also those with more skin and fats (not refering to you) will usually have it dropp after a yr or 2

Ps: i am not a commission earner from any doc or kalo clinic, just posting my personal opinion.
Golden Rules of PS:
1)If it aint broken, dun fix it / dun fix what u dun need
2)Perfect individual features usually dun yield perfect face
3)Work on your confidence 1st

Indonesia pls avoid, i have few frens who describe me of their horrible experiences or their frens'. one word scary. as for thailand, u can consider dr nara (at another thread) who has the cheapest rate so far and good reviews from other countries' forum (if u can read their languages)

Hi Yen,

Thanks for remembering me :) Has been busy with my work..

To update you, i wasn't very satify wiith my surgery cos my left side is higher than the right side and the black color thread ca been seen underneath the skin. I try to take them out myself if not there are ceases there and the recovery take a longer time...

My eyes still look puffy thou it been 2 months. I did called up Kalo earlier to inform them abt my case with Ms tay and rachel. They asked me not to worry as it is normal and they will call me after 2-3 months to return back for a follow up checkup. Well it been 2 months and they have not call me. Anyway, i will call them next week and see how is goes... :???: Well, i guess Im not as luck as you,Yen

Wondering how's Beanie's doing? Hope everthing goes well for her side :)

Hi sea,

it's quite common to have bit of thread, same for my case.. wait for it to be push out more to the surface den use a tweezer to pull it out.

You did cutting or mini incison method? If cutting need at least 6 months -1 year to fully subsided or deswell.

Maybe you can call Ms Tay to check..
