Hi pretty123,

When i did my alar and the doctor gave me the mirror, i felt the the height of the two sides were not balanced and i immediately raised the issue while i was lying there. Imagine, i was lying there just stitched up and i was like arguing with the doctor and Ms Tay. and this is after the shock of seeing stitches all around my nostril base after i was reassured by people that the stitches would not be so visible. So i was arguing for a few minutes but the doctor and Ms Tay were very reassuring and gentle, after a few minutes i was like forget it give it some time, cos i had no intention of having him reopen the cut and redo it again immediately AAhhhhhhhh and when i was outside waiting for the taxi, i asked the assistant (the same one who left the stitch in my nose) what if it really was different height. [ the 2 alar different distance from my lip to the base of my nose] she was like displeased and said Its just swollen, i said Ok but what if there REALLy was a problem? She said in a disgruntled way, "if it is really our fault we will correct it."
Its been two weeks now and it looks fine and balanced. So perhaps you should not stress yourself out and allow it some time to heal and naturalize first before making an assessment as to whether you need a revision and not freak yourself out unnecessarily. Haha... mayb there are alot of us who after surgery come out and say ItS Not BALANCE AR! hahaha ... and what i learnt from reading the very longlonglong ps thread is to keep expectations low, like expect to have to do a revision, as long as the surgery had no bad scarring and the procedure done is a step nearer to what you want. Thats how i think la. No point worrying myself to death and stressing myself out. Hope things turn out well! Takecare.. all the best!

Hi Yen2006, Princessli,

Thank you so much :) i feel so much better after reading your post.

Is been a day since i have done my eyelid, is not that swollen anymore, however, i still feel that my eyelid is very in balance, one of my eyelid is curvy (not that curvy actually) compare to the other one is like a rectrangle shape. i am so afriad now, i cant have eyelid like that.

And i called in to Kalo this morning, they told me they cant do anything now and ask me to wait for 2weeks, i dont know if i can stand this for TWO weeks  , guess i really have to be patience with my eyes now. (i just cant get away from the mirrow :? ) Errrrrr..... DO u think it will really turn out to be better two weeks later? Even now, both eye is not what i really want, is not curvy at all.

Yen,
I done it in Kalo KL, a china Lady doc done it for me, she was gentle and the whole process was fast, maybe we didnt discuss the curve shape in detail before she dot my eyes with marker.

Hi gals~!

I was at KALO yesterday with Magdalyn & JONAQH.
I was there for my 2nd nose jab, and it was not as painful as i imagine it to be.
I think the jab is working as Mag & J told me they think my nose tip got smaller :D
Didn't get to ask Ms Tay what the med is cos they are so busy yesterday, besides the fact that they have a full schedule, someone in the morning had last minute wanted to add more surgery, so everyone who had appt there got to wait at least 2-4 hours before they can go in. So I better not aggravate their problem.
Now my nose is slowly getting into shape, although I hope/ believe that overall it should look smaller in another month or so :)

o i c....that one ah...
this time u insist dr do for u...cos if it is embedded, it will lead to infection and may affect the implant (u have one, right?)
I used to work in hospital (but i didn't tell anyone at KALO, i just want to obserbe how they do). removing stitch is simple yet not just anyone can do it. there are many ways to stitch, and removing them requires different techniques. the person maybe observant enough to see the flow of the thread and not to cut at the wrong point, or the thread will be left in the body and become a foreign body. sometimes, the stitch may drop out on its own if it is near the skin, but otherwise, some patients will develop infection and pus will form as white cells attack the foreign body.
