in this case, think again, people. of course she will say the scar is minimal and all. but the thing is, i called up Kalo. i asked them about scars. they said there will be scar, it will take a long time to heal. not like 1-2 weeks. and i even called up the KL branch Kalo and asked how long they have been operating. they said 5 years. and yen said 10 years. hello, 5 and 10 years is a big difference.

and the worse part, she never cares about others' need. $$ is more important to her. that is a very selfish thing to do. what if something goes wrong? is she going to refund you all etc? so, make sure u made the right decision. do more research on it before u proceed. it's really risky!

Hi Face,

Please don't get us wrong. We never critisized Kalo. We have been demanding answers from Yen on her questionable comments on Kalo.
:)
so you're a team now ha, always with the 'us'? Gosh, do you read any of the posts or do u just keep gibbering on... YOU didn't criticise Kalo, but your "teammates" DID wat!

Stop acting all sweet and nice after being all rage and bitch in your previous posts, you hypocrite! I am not related to Yen, but am SO pissed off by you. Stay out of this thread, else i will come posting in your "Bk Dongyang Plastic Surgery Clinic In Korea" thread!
So, you also know that I never critisized Kalo.
I already got my answer on Magic Epi from Yen and already accepted her apologies. And I never promoted Dr. Kim nor asked anybody to go to him in this "KALO plastic surgery clinic in JB" thread before. So, I don't really have anything to argue with you for.

I don't understand why you are so upset with this whole thing. Please lighten up. I don't have anything against you.

And please stop calling me, quarrelsome or thick skin or bitch. It is so uncalled for and not nice.

Hi guys, been sometime since I log in. N so many things happen here...

Can anyone advise me on how Dr Song looks like? For me, I went down 1 time and I only get to meet Ms Tay. N it seems that I can only meet Dr Song only after I pay the money for surgery. I hope i am not misled as I will call kalo to find out again.

As for the consultation, I find that they seems quite aggressive. This is because, at 1st I only went to consult for lipo. But Ms Tay actually start asking me Qs like you ever thinking of making your nose sharper? Yr chin is not well defined, wanna try...?

But I still ask for the costing tot.. as no harm right? but I left the clinic and 1 gd thing is :) , they r not so aggressive to make me sign the package.

Frankly, I find tht their price is ex for lipo and chin... even tot I did mention tht I'm intro by yen, its not cheaper than the price she put in the forum. its only when I mention specifically abt yen's cost.. then she told me that yen's price is promotion, when I'm like huh? no more ? then she tell me she can fight for it provided I do more areas.

I'm still interested in the PS so I actually wanna know how Dr Song looks like. Lastly, I am not defend or side who but I just want to share my experience with u. KALO seems like its upper class as the design is modern. Mayb thats y its ex? But its definitely cheaper than sg but how come the price is so diff?

Pls share with me. Thanks.

hey guys, jus a suggestion, if you guys wan to do overseas in search for better skills and perhaps better pricing too, consider thailand?

There are perhaps thousand plus Dr there?

From the world renowned Dr Preecha too the Street clinic.

Prices are also really cheap to me as Dr Preecha who is Thailand No.1 charges only 800-900US for Rhino.

So you can imagine if you go to jus any clinic you can do it as low as maybe half that?

Anyway not only is it cheaper?

But jus walking at the street, you see those local social escorts. some really look beautiful and natural?

Its pretty obvious that the typical asians do not have such defined features?

Anyway jus suggesting an opinion as I am not sure if KALO's Dr area ll certified.

Hi Wasadeha, i agree that thailand is cheaper, in fact i've already done stuff there :D

but now if i am looking to do just some minor stuff, i will consider the hassle and extra cost of actually flying to thailand, and paying for hotel stay as well.

It may just be same cost as driving over to JB, getting it done and coming bk home to rest, more comfortable... so i am still considering... if want to go thailand, will have to do more areas to make it worthwhile to fly there

else the cost of flying to thailand and staying there might just be equal or lesser than the extra cost to do it in JB... just some food for thought... cos i still considering thailand or Kalo...

I can't manage to get u through msn. Hmm.. how much it cost in total(surgery, food, accomodation) during your last visit to thailand? If im to do double eyelid, alarplasy, tip rhinoplasty and lipostuction(arm, thigh, calf), roughly how much does it cost? i have tried to email Dr Nara but i didnt hear anything from him. Is there any other way i can reach him?

Hi Mag and dreampotion,

They quote for each part of the thigh RM1488
Therefore to do the whole thigh, it'll be 8parts.(front, back, left and right) x 2(for both leg)

Which means that it'll be RM11904. But if you do the whole thigh, it'll be RM10000. But I don intend to do the whole thigh.. still cheaper than sg by half..

Mag, you went for the lipo right? how does Dr Song looks like? How come so many people went for the surgery but no one seems to be able to help me out on this? Pls share ok? Thanks :>

Kalo

Post by Pretty123 » Mon, 20 Aug 2007 6:40 pm

Hello All,

Hi, I am new here, and wanted to do my double eyelid for long time, but scare.... for operation

I have met up with the Kalo Consultant in KL branch for the eyelid surgery, they quote me RM1288 for the stitching method. and the Dr. is from China.

Can anyone share with me the different between the operation (cutting) and stitching method that done by kalo? which one is better?

It is painful and scary during the operation? will i be seeing the whole operation as this is only done under local anesthesia?..

Thanks in advance to clear my doubts and looking forward for your guys reply.... :)

kalo trip

Post by prettyface07 » Tue, 21 Aug 2007 3:08 pm

Hi all,

Just back from malaysia, very busy.

There is some info for reference only.

Image

I have visited KL & JB Kalo, they are well renovated feel very comfortable with the place.

In KL I have spoken to a consultant name Tammy, she told me Kalo KL in Mid Valley city only 5 years history,
But My friend in KL have check Kalo Cosmetic Surgery Reg.no has been in the market coming to 10 years.
The consultant suggestion on my face does not convincing me enough.I have ask her a few questions she can't answer me well also,I find her lack of experience.Only said after PS sure look good. She said that there are 3 Doctors in Kalo.
She told me that in malaysia only KL & JB has the operation room to perform the ops.The other centres are just their agent for consultation.

I also went to JB Kalo while I'm on the way back to Sin,I pay for the consultation fee Rm50.
I was able to speak to their GM Ms Tay,she was a very genlte and nice lady.
She is a very experience consultant I ever met can said that (better then doctors ,my own view) cause she did quite alot of procedures on her body at Kalo too: Nose, double eyelid, alarplastry, epicantoplastry, lipo & BREAST.

Ms Tay told me the history of Kalo was about 10 years from where it started till today.
Kalo started in PJ in (KL) for 3 years +, den they shifted to a bigger clinic in Mid Valley City (KL) for 5 years +, JB kalo is 1 year +

Ms Tay gave very good suggestions on my face which procedure I should do to enhanced my features.I also ask her about Breast Augmentation.
She told me that they have few types of implant, her breast implant she did is the most exp one, called Gel filled
she even ask me to touch & feel,me so paiseh. But got touch la feel good
not hard,it just like real one.

Ms Tay quoted me:

1) Korean Nose implant Rm 4888
2) Alarplasty Rm 1800
3) Double eyelid stitching Rm 1288
4) Epicanthoplasty Rm 2888
5) Gel filled Breast Rm 18000

Ms Tay said can give me discount if I do all the above procedures together.
I also asked the GM Ms Tay whether Kalo has a branch in singapore called Kalo Beauty? Ms Tay said no, all their branches are in Malaysia only

I post this is not promoting Kalo Cosmetic Surgery is to clarify all my doubts & to share with all forumers.
I believe that Dr Song skill is good ,cause not only Yen2006 did her nose implant, alarplastry, double eyelid,Epi,Beannie did her double eyelid,Shalom did her nose & Fluckguy etc....

Conclusion:There is no harm to consult another doctor cause every doctor or clinic that you visited, you will learn/gain some good infomation from them.I find that Kalo JB is a ideal place to PS if you are looking into price & skill comparision.

Too all PPl going for PS Good Luck & peace!

Thanks

you might wanna consider vaser. traditional lipo is horrible and terrifying imo. and the price is not that attractive when RM1488 x 8, makes up to like S$5k for jus both thighs? try vaser/smartlipo, heard the results equally good and less downtime, only minimal swelling. :)
Cry when you get ripped.
