KALO plastic surgery clinic in JB

hi yen! hi everyone!

i did implant with dr song last thu, it went well, he is a good doctor.

i took the "korean implant". Rachel said it's gortex though....i'm now just hoping for the best.

i didn't do alar, cos dr song said it's not good for me.

the story is: i had alar done once in 2005 by a famous PS in Singapore, but he screwed up!!! the tip did not become smaller, but it got lifted up because of scarring, then my nose look like pig's nose with big tip and obvious nostrils!!! i had a better looking nose before that cos of a high nose bridge, just thought a smaller tip will look nicer. in the beginning, the PS told me that have to be patient for the swelling to go down, then the tip will look smaller and pointed down, but it did not happen, so after a year, he used laser to "shave" off my "thich skin" on the sides (so said he), so i can look more normal at least...

anyway, when dr song looked into my nose before inserting the implant, he said he saw a lot of bad scarring, but he said it's probably due to the PS's skills, not because i have bad healing (i have better looking scar on my knee cap from knee surgery!!!) , like what the stupid Singapore PS said to me.
dr song thought it will be bad for my nose if he were to do alar again, so instead he chose to use injecting method to refine the tip. i think i can trust dr song, cos he doesn't seem to be the type of PS just after ur $$ (injection is less $$ than alar)

i'm not looking for perfection now, just a normal looking nose is good enough for me...

btw, hey i thought beannie's "Before" pic look like Yen's "After" pic, did u post the wrong "Before" pic or what??

going back to KALO to remove stitch next week (most prob Thu), anyone want to come along? can share cab

I didn't ask for any bridge work done, just wanted to extend the length of the nose tip, so it's not so pig like...but i doubt it can be like my nose before...never trust Singapore PS.....

actually, we can't really compare yen's before and after pics. cuz yen's before pics is looking straight at the cam which gives a better view whereas her after pic, she takes it from sideview looking down. through that perspective, the eyes will definitely look bigger in anyone.

the big eye effect on yen is not purely because of kalo's double eyelid surgery. it's obvious she puts on makeup. she puts on mascara & eyeliner which helps in giving a big eye effect.

i have consulted kalo. they said they could only do normal double eyelid cutting. from all the before & after pics they shown overthere, the pics aren't that amazing. it doesn't really enlarges one's eyes significantly. just normal cutting. besides, i asked them about the scarring process, they said it takes quite a long time to heal.

hence, i'm thinking twice of going to them to do my double eyelid as i'm looking to enlarge my eyes significantly. perhaps dr chuang or taiwan docs is a better choice.

and the consultants there said if anyone were to intro their friends or anyone to Kalo, they will give them some kind of reward like maybe commission or further discount for the next surgery they are doing. i guess yen is doing so? sorry yen, if u got offended, but i've seen u hard-selling Kalo and promoting it so much in alot of forums and also keep on messaging people to go for Kalo, asking them to quote you. perhaps there is some profit for you if anyone quote u?

also, in your previous post, u said Kalo has been operating for 10 years. i asked Kalo about it. they said they have been operating for 5 years only. wow, such a huge difference from what u said! i guess ur exaggerating it and really wanna sell it hard.

another thing is u said dr song does magic epicanthoplasty when he doesn't. u just go on promoting it and saying what is best to everyone's ear so that they will choose to go Kalo and quote u.

just my two cents. yen,hope u don't get much offended as i'm just telling the truth so that other forumers doesn't get the wrong info.

yup agree sometimes we need to hear more comments and experience from more people,
good and bad reviews are all so important
actually i was so tempted to go after reading so many good reviews
i also noticed there were no bad reviews
some frens warned me there were quite a no. of unhappy results from going to malaysia for PS
nothing against any country
but just sharing what i heard also
they had said if really want to save money just go thailand but reputable ones lah like yanhee
then again of course yanhee had its fair share of bad reviews too

Sorry, have not heard any bad review about KALO yet coz all my friends did there are as satisfied as me keke maybe got a few cases but I didnt came across?


I have few friends did PS at KALO recommanded me, that's why I chose KALO coz it's cheaper compared to singapore.


I'm busy with my facial salon now, anyway also finish all my PS already.

Anyway found out from a fren was quoted 16000RM FOR FACE LIFT.

and 8800 RM for threadlift.

These prices does match some Singapore surgeons i think?

Facelift in thailand starts from US2000

So much diff?

Anyway jus wondering, Thai clinics are offering rihnoplasty from US600(yanhee)-US1000 depending on clinics

for simple Silicone and abt $1000-$1500 for Gortex


Seems like Thailand is still the cheapest if you jus consider the clinic cost only off cos.
