Post by movagn » Thu, 31 May 2007 3:02 pm

Hello all,

I am going to move with my husband to Singapore this summer from US. Just would like to know how the job market is in SIngapore for expat wives ? I only have one child and would like to work in real estate / consumer goods industry. Anyone has advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Cindy

depending on the employment status of your husband, your husband's employer can sponsor a NOC, which entitiles you to take up temporary employment, but linked to your husband's tenure of the pass. Real estate may not be possible, as it is closely held by locals, but you can always work as a sub-agent. Other than that you can also register a business and conduct any service through it.

Cheers!!!
