I assume from your post you have not yet bought it? My advice don't bother! I recently bought a HP Pavilion laptop and have had nothing but trouble, not only with the machine but also the so-called customer care and their less than adequate technical support. Should you care to read around some forums you will find that few are impressed with their technical support. I could write a long explanation here but to keep it short my experience resulted in an eight page letter to the director! :x

Few if any computer corporations offer good after-sales support, my advice is to stay away from the cheaper priced laptops. Although I did have a cheap PC from Dell and as much as I dislike the company there was never a problem with it. As I said earlier have a look around a few forums for other people's experiences.

Me - I hate computer corporations. :x :x

One more vote against HP and for Dell. Although I like my new Panasonic CF-R6 Toughbook best of all :P
