Womens Pro Beach Volleyball on Sentosa

Post by Mavrik23 » Sun, 20 May 2007 2:49 pm

I'm kind of new in town and checking to see if anyone is interested in meeting up on Sentosa next Saturday, May 26th, for the Semi-Finals of the Womens Pro Beach Volleyball Tour Event. Tix are $20 (unsheltered) or $50 (sheltered) including entrance into the beach party which is advertising cheap $5 drinks all night long. Check out this site for more info: http://www.singaporebvbworldtour.com/

Any takers??

Hi this is Vincent Lai from ESPN STAR Sports.

I'm currently writing an article on ESPNSTAR.com about watching the beach volley tournament on Sentosa, about the experience of watching the sport.

If you'd like to grant me an interview, PM me, email me, or call me at 91557682.

Cheers,

Vincent Lai

jeeeez, guys who else did the mistake of attending this thing last saturday?
I first watched the games which was realy nice, no question, but the so called beach party was the worst thing ever. Actually it had potential because of the location but i dont know who is the head behind this mis-management of a party.

There were no people at all, extremely bad music the whole night (i wonder where they get all these crap/untalented DJs from), although it seemed to be a quite good soundsystem it seemed no one ever did really adjust the system wherefore it sounded like playing to loud techno on a too small speaker, probably my mobile produces better quality.

Help, where are all the REAL Beach Partys gone too?

Forget! I went to a Zoukout beach party in sentosa some time ago. It's an unforgettable bad experience kicking off by the terrible crowds, many are like kids for me, queuing to enter and ending up by watching a drunk girl dancing on a stage until her bikini bras dropped off in front of hundreds of ppl, and she was still dancing and flirting.. drinks and pukes polluted the sands and air too..and only one corner played good techno music..I'd never expected a beach party rather called a mess. I hope your experience wouldnt be worse than mine.
