Hi All,
I have been offered a job in Sing with my present company and I am thinking of accepting the package.
I wondered if anyone knew if I would have to pay capital gains tax in Ireland on any money I made over here in Sing?
Cheers

Joining a IT company - its not signed, sealed and delivered yet.
Do you know anything about paying tax when we get back to Ireland on money gained?

With the MASSIVE caveat that I am no tax expert I cannot see any reason why you would have to pay since probably you will be resident for tax purposes in Singapore and there is almost certainly a double tax treaty in place with Ireland.
The
IRAS website has loads of info.
Others may not agree, but I find tax matters here are a breeze on the whole. I reserve about 10 minutes to do my tax return each year, which still leaves me time to go and make a cup of tea!

I’m not sure that’s a thing here, unless you hire an interior designer and have them furnish your house for you.
