Post by kiwigal » Fri, 18 May 2007 9:58 am

Does anyone know where I can get hold off some cheap plain white t-shirts for kids to decorate/ paint etc ??

Back home in the UK I would get these from a cheapie Primark shop or a market, but I have no idea where to look for any here .

Any ideas anyone ?

i got one for my son from the holland village shopping centre, costs $10, i know , not as cheap as primark or matalan, but that is the cheapest i could find. the store is located on the 2nd level , after the tailors and the hairdresser.
you can also try bukit timah plaza, not sure if the renovation for the ntuc is finished,on the level B1.

Try chinatown, they have shophouses that sell plain white singlets/tshirts for children (in bulk!) haha. Its almost dirt cheap. Its located opp of chinatown MRT, along eu tong sen st (cant remember the building name).

need to do some searching though (cheap stuff can come at a price)

U can also try spotlight at Plaza singapura (slightly more expensive, at least theres air conditioning and its not difficult to find)

Alternatively you can try Bras basar where they sell tons of art stuff (they can be rather pricey, although some shops will give really good deals)

any other info you require?

I'll keep a look out, if i can find the exact address, will drop it here.

Go to any local market area, they all have these shops selling stuff for $1, $2 etc. You can always get it from there, or you find either of these two shops CK and Song and Song, if i knew where u r I could tell you where to find them!, but they do have both at Bedok Central, or Jurong East central (the mrt bus interchanges). At the market u can get it for $1 at the shops maybe at the most $5
