i didnt get in too.
i was so lost after they announced the names.
have been following this forum for quite some time, and i kept telling myself to be CONFIDENT, confident, smile, Confident, smile.
ytd was my first try with SQ, and i was quite surprised at myself because i wasn't really nervous. managed to introduce myself and answer the question with ease and confidence.
abit thick-skinned, but i also saw one of the interviewer looking (or scrutinizing) me from head to toe while someone else was doing their introduction.
and i thought, there is a mere chance for me.
i would really die to know the reason for being rejected..
i wonder could it be because i was too honest and wrote down my previous interview with Silkair?? (rejected too)

Which grp were you guys in? I was in grp 48. I managed to get thru 1st round and 2nd round but failed third round. The lady interviewer said i used too much singlish~!!! omg... I guess i treated her to casually (T_T) Anyway i'm not gonna give up. Does anyone know if they do keep a record of how many times u tried and how far you got till? And does the record even help in terms of chances of getting in the next time round...?

If they pass you the first time doubt they'll take your height into anymore consideration. Though we never know why girls don't make it true WCT. Just stay confident!

yea! on her 9th time she asked the interviewers why she didn't get it after so many tries, like what is wrong with her that she's always not selected.
then, they told her it's the gap between her teeth and that she wasn't wearing make up.
so she wore make up, fixed her teeth and she got it her 10th time!
that is so great... however i dun think any of the interviewers are willing to tell u wat went wrong.. I had a friend who muster the courage to ask coz she was in the last group for kebaya round.. also she was booted out from kebaya many times.. but in the end, the lady juz say we are looking for posture, the way u walk, yr skin and whether u look good in the kebaya...
it is as if she din ans her qn.. she need to know the exact pro!! She din slouch, smile, keep her shoulders straight, complexion is good..
hai~~~

Life restrictions will not end until we have either (a) herd immunity or (b) vaccine. Lock-down measures merely prolongs achieving the former (a).
