I supposed most of you gals here are rather young who are in the early twenties?

yuanz wrote:Hi autumn-reverie, i really admire your passion for flying, giving up your uni education for this. I'm also very passionate about travelling. i get very excited whenever there are recruitments coming up but i'm torn btw choosing to go to uni or applying to be a FA. are there any FA who are studying and flying at the same time and will i be considered too old to apply after i've graduated from uni? :???:

Hi yuanz!
haha thanks dear. it's been a really tough decision as choosing either path will chart a different course for my life. i'll be giving up my placing at NUS FASS and NTU Mass Comm for my dream job.. definitely the most major decision i've ever made. I hope to look back with no regrets! :D so far i don't know of any SA who are flying and studying concurrently.. does anyone else know? :)

i don't think you'll be too old after you graduate, it's always good to have a safety net with a degree :) All the best babe!

Hi Moonnyuki!
all the best for tomorrow, don't worry too much :D really hope to hear good news from you!

i juz came back from the interview...sad to say..didnt managed to get through..the last time I went...i manage to pass a few rounds but this time..i wasnt even selected during the first round.

in my group, only 1 got through. In my friend's group, only 2 got through..and all are dark-skinned.Do they prefer dark skinned ladies?

and the interviewers r so young..and have this "sort of trying to get things get over and done with"attitude...

next interview will be in august?im going to try again!!!

Same :(

Came back frm this morning interview...onli one girl got in and I din got in like my past try... worst one of the interviwer was my last interviewer...she recognise me and give me a look... so i guess she wasnt comfortable w me trying again so soon...

In general, I have glance at many interviewerers who came out to pass the results to the admin staff... many are young ones in their 20s... Very strict today :?

But girls...don't give up... Met the uncle who is one of the staff who queue us up... he was very encouraging... asked me to try again and not to give up easily... since i failed my kabaya test last round, then he suggest I train myself in all aspect to build my confidence up again before trying... So let's not give up easily :)

P.S. I've also got to know new friends when I was there alone today... it's heart-warming to find people with same direction

hi!

yup, today was so strict! haha.. was out again, well, kinda of expect it cos i am very old. :o

all the interviewers are so young, like fresh out of school, in their early 20s. i prefer the older ones with experiences, heee.... maybe cos they are nicer comparing to the younger ones. i actually felt the nervousness today compare to the time when my interviewers are the older ones ( i was feeling normal, not nervous at all).

anyway, my group only 1 girl got thru while the previous gp before us, none got thru! seems like quite a number of pretty girls and those who had that SIA look did not pass round 1, was a surprise man.

yeah.. the uncle was really nice... :) keep giving us encourangment, i almost wanted to come up to him and ask him about the age limit for stewardess cos if there is an age limit, i won't attend the walk in anymore.

well, lets just hope SIA will recruit soon! yay!

yea! on her 9th time she asked the interviewers why she didn't get it after so many tries, like what is wrong with her that she's always not selected.

then, they told her it's the gap between her teeth and that she wasn't wearing make up.

so she wore make up, fixed her teeth and she got it her 10th time!
