South African working and living in Sing

Post by al123herm » Tue, 15 May 2007 4:21 pm

i have recently been transferred to Sing, and am looking for a apartment/condo. We are a family of 4, 2 daughters aged 6 and 11. Any advice on areas to live in, pref where there is a primary school with place at this time. My budget between sgd2500 - sgd 3000. Any advise will be appreciated.

Sorry this reply is a bit off topic!....

Will the school be the international type or local?

Local schools are good but hard to find places in half-way through the school year (Jan-Nov) so if local is your answer you need to be pestering the schools right now! - You can get all of their info by going to the MOE website

2.5 - 3K for 3 bedroom condo (?) will probably have you looking away from the cetral districts and maybe up in the East Coast area.
