Hi everyone
I will be making a trip to Singapore next month (from KL) to surprise my bf for his birthday. As it's a working day, I plan to give him a surprise at work but I think I wld need the help of his colleagues to do this.
Can anyone give me ideas on :-
- where to have a romantic dinner without blowing burning the wallet?
- recommended place in Raffles to buy good/yummy cakes?
- how to make his birthday more memorable apart from surprise him at the office?
- I plan to buy some food for the colleagues to dig in as well. Can someone recommend a place which sells good food for brunch - e.g. cakes, donuts, sandwiches, kuehs etc?
Any suggestions/ideas is highly appreciated!! Thanks in advance

Hi synkronize,
i have an idea that could be an additional surprise on top of turning up at his office(which i think might give him a pleasant heart attack already!). Last year, a friend of mine asked me the same question before, they wanted to do a surprise bachelor party for one of his workmates. Another friend had just started running outdoor laser-gun shooting games and thought it would be a good idea to suggest to him, since they wanted to do it on a Friday evening after work but wanted to stay away from the obvious pub crawl and all that.
So they did it, about ten of them(5 couples if i remember correctly) and i heard from him next time that it was fun, even though they were at first worried whether the ladies could take it.
If this sounds like a good idea to you let me know here. I'll check with my friend to see if they are still around and let you know here.
Cheers
