hi,
i have an 18 year old son who will be going to uni in 2008 in singapore, is he able to get a part time job. eg. shop assistant or macdonalds?

Depending on the rules tat are stated on his student pass!

He is onli be able to work for part time if he is holding the government school student pass... to be confirmed, u should check on the immigration rules tat are stated on his Student Pass... :)

he can work at Starbucks Coffee provided he is holding the independent pass / student pass.

The pay is higher and he will undergo an intensive training which will help him alot in PR skill and customer service
