We are a group of MBA students (with a passion for travel) exploring the feasibility of organising “holidays with a difference”

I think this is an interesting and great idea. Not a lot of agency organizing such activity trips and not a lot of friends have similar interest. Looking forward to it!

I personally like the idea and think it would be great to be on such trips. However, most Singaporeans (not all) are happy with their package tours and unlikely to sign up, even if the idea may have appeal conceptually. Also, though you have not been explit in your message about the target segments you are reaching out to, looks like you are basically appealing to the adventurous young crowd and not the family types.

Indeed, we believe that there is a niche to be filled in the travel industry here. Although the mass majority are happy with the existing package tours, as people start travelling more, they will start looking for different experiences. The challenge lies in marketing the concept to the correct audience and also in managing costs.

For a start, we believe that this concept will appeal most to the expatriate crowd as well as young Singapore professionals.
