Hey all. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Slight aside, however - is anyone doing anything exciting tonight? I'm thinking of heading out and getting some beers in me. If a bunch of us were to get together we could all catch a buzz while helping make sure nobody gets too tanked to be able to make it to practice tomorrow. We don't want to end up looking like Mark did at the start of practice last week... :???: I might be down for playing some pool.

Today's session

Post by wkh_92 » Sat, 01 Mar 2008 10:43 pm

Whoa.............. Today's session was insane. 20+ over guys training in the rain, all drenched right down to the bone.I'm quite sure passer-bys and car drivers were like staring at us. :o

Guess this is the way football should be played.

But good practice though.

Thats Right!

Not easy too coordinate 25 players and progress but thanks to everyone contributing their part and players learning the plays its going well! Always hiccups at the start but iron em out and move on.

Our common goal is too beat KL and have a good showing doing it....

I want to ask ALL players on the field to BE physical especially during BLOCKING and the faster U learn this the better. Dont let an oppnent teach u this later. U think a barking old coach is bad?? Wait to u play young hard seasoned players!

So lets keep it going!

Sat will be a continuation of this past Sat with OL and DL coaching for 30 to 45min from 9.50am till 10.30 or so.

9am Coaches

9.15 Team Shows at BISHAN!!!!!

9.30 Dynamic warm up

9.40 Stretch

Then scripted plays from ur QB and some game time.

Play Ball!!!

Are anyone else's arms & chest sore from doing pushups? Hey - not only are we learning some discipline, but the added upper-body strength will come in handy when we're blocking!

Haha, I have the same thing, we should do more push up next week, coz our POWER is going to make us win the game against KL.

LOL. I'm quite sure it's gonna come in handy! Muscle is STILL aching despite it being 3 days after Sat's session.

Thanks for posting the pics - they have me looking forward to Saturday almost as much as if I had a job!

btw - I think linking to Picasa works better than using postimage.org - the forum pages with pics in them take a while to load.
