Hi,
I am a fresh grad and just got the LPR approved. However, heard that it is very hard to rent a place (apartment) in Singapore without a PR or citizen or Employment Pass status, as the owner of the place is not sure if it is safe to rent out their flat to foreigner without one of the above status...
Is it true? Can I show the owner / real etate agent my LPR letter from Singapore immigration to show my status in order to rent a place in Singapore?
Thanks in advance!

I don't think you should have any major problem, you're basically a PR anyway. My wife first came here on LPR and didn't have any trouble finding a place, but then again my wife gets away with things a lot of other people don't
