Great question as we are about to move over and I wondered the same thing...Do you get these US shows in Singapore???

Maybe Singapore should be called the "Sunburnt Country" instead of Australia....
I seem to be getting more "sunburnt" here then i did back home lol!

Yes. They are all available here with cable TV.
However some of them are a season or 2 behind.

Lost is on AXN
Grey's Anatomy is on Starworld
Ugly Betty is now playing on Ch 5
i didn't follow lost as i know its a season behind Ch. 5
and Grey's Anatomy is in its 2nd season ..
Im pretty sure US is ahead of us
so i guess when you move here and Ch. 5 airs the new season, you won't miss anything

you can also buy them all on DVD.
or download them from ITunes
or download illegally from Limewire
or borrow from your friend who bought them in KL or Thailand
or borrow from your friend who "oreddi" downloaded them.
tho if you're using Beta max ... u might have a few problems.

Those are my favorite shows. You can pay to watch the current season and past seasons of those shows through "Itunes" on the Internet (see
www.itunes.com). The cost is about $40 for one season or you can pay for just one episode at a time. The nice thing is that you can watch the shows without commercial interruptions and you can pause and rewatch them when you want - no need to be tied to the TV set. Hope this helps.

Whether or not you can download them from iTunes depends on where you're coming from, and what credit cards you have. If you have US credit cards, you can sign up for the US iTunes store, and download TV shows... Anywhere else though and I doubt you are able to (like with the Australian iTunes store for example).

You can watch them on abc.com as well. The only issue is they block foreign IP addresses. But you can get around that if you can log onto a US IP (I use my vpn connection from work). It is free and it is the current season. Otherwise you will either be a couple of episodes behind (I believe Housewives, UB and Heroes are a couple of episodes behind) or you are seasons behind (like Prison Break and Lost).
I just moved here from the US as well, so I know the problems you are going to face. What I also did was setup a Slingbox in the US connected to a Slingbox. So I can watch all the episodes right as they happen on my computer or hook my computer up to my flatscreen LCD and watch on the TV, it is pretty cool.
