Moved into the Meyer Road area in the East Coast. If you have girls similar age and would like to meet up please let me know and we can set up a playdate. Cheers :)

I have an 8 year old girl but we won't be moving over until July!! She would love to meet new friends when we move. I will be sure to post you when we arrive-not sure where we will be living (our househunting trip is in a few weeks).

How long have you been in Singapore? I am guessing from your name that you relocated from USA? How has the transition been? sorry for all the ????s, a little nervous/anxious about our upcoming move with her too.

Post by jersey_girl » Sun, 29 Apr 2007 7:40 pm

hi there!

kat let's get the girls together. i start work on wednesday writing for the expat magazine but it's flexi hours and i can bring work home, so we can still arrange something. email me at [email protected] and we can set it up. i can't send a private message until i have enough posts.

maddiesmom: yes we moved over from joisey :) however singapore is not new to us as we were here for 5 years in the early 90's. i am having a hard time getting climatised to the weather though. give me snow anytime. :o email me at the above address when you guys get in and good luck with the move.

cheers
sunita

Hi trinity
I am fulltime working mum and my husband will be moving from NZ in about a month (I am here already) with 9 year old girl who loves to rollerblade! (and 2 year old son) How would you feel about getting together with them? Found a place at East Palm, so it is nice and close to the park. The girls can swim afterwards and my husband makes a mean latte! Offer is of course open to the other mums too. I can be contacted on [email protected] if you would like to respond.

Hope to see you!
Sandra
