Malaysian Flight Stewardesses/ Stewards
We will be conducting a recruitment exercise for Flight Stewardess/ Steward in Malaysia. If you meet the following standards, we will be pleased to meet you at our walk-in interview.

Requirements

* Malaysian citizens
* At least 1.58m in height for Females and 1.65m for Males
* At least 2 principal level passes and 2 subsidiary passes in
STPM/GCE ‘A’ level or its equivalent; or a diploma from a
university or college.
Candidates with at least 5 credits in SPM/GCE ‘O’ level and
relevant working experience may also apply.

A minimum grade of B4 in English at SPM level is required
for the above qualifications.

Preference will be given to candidates who are able to speak foreign languages or are experienced in customer service.



Training
If you make it through our rigorous selection process, you will undergo about 4 months’ training. On successful completion of training you will commence flying duties.

Remuneration & Service Benefits
Apart from the opportunity to experience various cultures and meet new people from around the world, you can look forward to a total income of about S$3,500 a month, including fixed salary and variable incentive allowances. Plus an annual wage supplement of one month’s basic salary and profit-sharing bonus. You will also be entitled to free travel to any SIA destination once a year and enjoy discounted travel at other times.

Alternatively, you may wish to attend the interviews at a later date in Kuala Lumpur. Please email your application together with a covering letter and a recent full-length photograph of yourself to cabincrew_recruit@singaporeair.com.sg by 5 May 2007.

Only shortlisted applicants will be notified by email.

i was supposed to attend the 21st April interview in Singapore, but they told me to hold on when i mailed them and asked me to wait up for the open interview in Penang!

hey ..did u guys went for the walk in interview at Penang or KL b4? how is the situation there? the Q very long? n will they held their second n third interview in Penang too? or they will ask the shortlisted candidates go to SG for next interview?

Once you select one of the itnerview place , it would be done in that particular place only all the way......

Yes i think i'll send in my resume, hope both of us can be shortlisted. :)

Even u got selected to the final round, they will still let you choose if you want your final interview in Singapore or KL.

i have a full length photo with a formal suit but did not send in that pic..just one taken about a week ago in casual wear..maybe i should send in the formal one?
