I am new to this site..and i received a private message..but when i try to view it stated that i am not authorised...why is this so..can anyone help me on this issue...?

You need a minimum number of posts before you can use the private message function :)

This has been asked before, but isn't there any way to enable viewing PM's for newbies and block only sending?

No way to do that ....

The restriction of PM is to prevent spammers register themselves and start private messaging everyone ....
