Hi...my advise is: wait for 6 months. I was in the exact same spot as u r rite now. N i can feel the frustration and disappointment inside u now...but just be patient. It takes a while for this feeling to go off.
During my time, i actually asked the HR lady (not sure if she's sheryn) when can i try again and she gave a definite answer: 6 MONTHS. Reason being mgt are very senior mgt staff n they wouldn't want to see the same person being interviewed over and over again so frequently. Hence, I'm still patiently waiting for my six months to lapse
Not easy, but i'll abide by the rules.
I've also read a real life example in this forum itself...a guy kept on going for all the walk-ins after his mgt but he wasnt successful. The interviewer during 1-1 told him not to waste his time as the 6 months ban has not passed. So, he waited patiently for six months and finally, he said all the waiting has paid off. Undergoing training now
how long have you waited ? im jobless nw. i dread gg for interviews!! n i dun even noe what to work as cos i've just finished poly.
!@#!$!#$#
why must they have such a rule.. actually they shld state in their recruitment if its official. what if pple who doesn't cme to this forum or have nv heard of such thing they might jus go again for the nxt recruitment as well. N i bet alot have actually done it! why do thy hv ta wait till they gt till 1-1 before they actually knew there was such a thing. it'll be an double blow of disappointment.
aniwae who was your interviewer during mgmt ?
Well, it's gonna be 3 months this coming june. Y not just take up a part-time job which is service related? Like working in cafes, restaurants etc. It'll also give u relevant work experience and that would do u good when u go for the next interview 6 months down the road.
Yup, i agree with u about the 1-1 thing. But then...i guess no one really knows how things work in SIA? Hehe...or just like many other companies.
I'm not too sure who the interviewers were...but it was a man and a lady. Is it the same for urs? The man is around late 40s to early 50s. The lady is younger...
yea i oso tot of taking a few jobs to add on to the work experience. sighh! saddening!
so u went for the march recruitment ? mine's oso a male n female. male does the questioning. do u rem their names ?

Nope, i went for the january recruitment. I'm from Malaysia actually...so the recruitment dates r slightly different from those in Singapore. I remember we gotta wait real long for the mgt interview...like slightly more than a month after the water confidence!
Yeah, the man did the questioning as well for my time. I think it's Mr. Koh if i'm not mistaken...urs?
