hey thinkerbelle! erm.. if i rmb correctly seems like 7 or 8. during WC the lady said they had 12 available interview slots for the 21st, my batch had 4 people so your should have around 8
Babyger i'm not sure if they will have records but maybe you can go down on the 3rd and ask one of the staff before queuing. It'll be disappointing if they didn't let u through at the later rounds just because of this.
Don't give up k girl, you made it through to mgmt which shows you have what it takes. If need be, wait for 6 mths and try again. It's never too late to pursue your dream

the email she gave was
[email protected] which is the same as if u enquire thru their webby. however, after sending multiple emails not a reply from SIA.
actually how did you guys noe about the 6mths tingy ? frm this forum or frm ms sheryn ? because it wasn't even stated in the recruitment. and i bet there's alot out there who doesn't even know about it.
N remembering ms sheryn said it was advisable to cme back 6mths but she did not mention 'yes, u're not allow till after 6mths'. tats y im kinda hesitating whether to go ant. and yes! it would be very disappointing if they ask mi cme back 6mths later during the 1to1 interview. cos only then they'll ask which rd u've gt eliminated.
so far i haven read about pple gg straight after they flunk the mgmt interview.

Hi...my advise is: wait for 6 months. I was in the exact same spot as u r rite now. N i can feel the frustration and disappointment inside u now...but just be patient. It takes a while for this feeling to go off.
During my time, i actually asked the HR lady (not sure if she's sheryn) when can i try again and she gave a definite answer: 6 MONTHS. Reason being mgt are very senior mgt staff n they wouldn't want to see the same person being interviewed over and over again so frequently. Hence, I'm still patiently waiting for my six months to lapse
Not easy, but i'll abide by the rules.
I've also read a real life example in this forum itself...a guy kept on going for all the walk-ins after his mgt but he wasnt successful. The interviewer during 1-1 told him not to waste his time as the 6 months ban has not passed. So, he waited patiently for six months and finally, he said all the waiting has paid off. Undergoing training now

how long have you waited ? im jobless nw. i dread gg for interviews!! n i dun even noe what to work as cos i've just finished poly.
!@#!$!#$#
why must they have such a rule.. actually they shld state in their recruitment if its official. what if pple who doesn't cme to this forum or have nv heard of such thing they might jus go again for the nxt recruitment as well. N i bet alot have actually done it! why do thy hv ta wait till they gt till 1-1 before they actually knew there was such a thing. it'll be an double blow of disappointment.
aniwae who was your interviewer during mgmt ?

haha sorry thinkerbelle, i didn't know there was another group at 10.30 *blush*
Hi babyger, after WC i actually asked the lady in charge if the 6-months wait was true and she confirmed it was. The reason she gave was that if we failed mgmt and went straight for the next recruitment, there wouldn't be much difference in our work experience etc. I guess the long wait is meant for improving ourselves.
Do wait for their email reply, i sent them before and it does take some time for the reply cause they're really busy

Well, it's gonna be 3 months this coming june. Y not just take up a part-time job which is service related? Like working in cafes, restaurants etc. It'll also give u relevant work experience and that would do u good when u go for the next interview 6 months down the road.
Yup, i agree with u about the 1-1 thing. But then...i guess no one really knows how things work in SIA? Hehe...or just like many other companies.
I'm not too sure who the interviewers were...but it was a man and a lady. Is it the same for urs? The man is around late 40s to early 50s. The lady is younger...
