Aircon Maintenance

Post by muratkorman » Mon, 23 Apr 2007 5:48 pm

Could anyone tell me around how much it would cost for a one-time maintenance of 4 A/C units? I heard something like 35 S$ per unit which adds upto 140 S$ for one-time. Is it reasonable or could I find cheaper service?

Many thanks
With my kind regards

just paid someone $120 for 4, so yes you can get it cheaper, I am however considering a different company or I would share their name.

Thanks for the info. Finally I decided to use a A/C service that works for my company. They offer service each 3 months and the annual contract is 72 SGD per unit. Perhaps this is a special price for my company as I calculate, it is cheaper than all the others.

Yes, you are there or thereabouts, I'm paying $440/year for 6 FCU's and 2 condensors. Just make sure they don't "recommend" chemical cleaning at extra cost after the first couple of visits.

When they've finished they should comb the fins which should look reasonably dust free otherwise ask them to clean again properly as it will build up and only chemicals will get it out.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion

Thanks for the tips Rich D.

I guess this is the best deal I could get at the moment.
