Non-air cabin crew jobs

Postby doopwoop » Sat, 21 Apr 2007 3:55 am

Hi

Well this if my first post, I want to find out how to get into non cabin crew jobs. I’m looking into areas in aviation such as airport operations, airline operations (office) etc. I am a student studying a honours degree at a prestige London University. I was thinking of getting some experience, working in London for Singapore Airlines for a few years, before trying to secure a job in Singapore. Its always been my dream to live and work in Singapore since I visited the country when I was young.

If you people could give me some helpful tips on how I could get into the aviation industry in Singapore, I would be grateful. Thank you, ill look forward to your replies.

In London Singapore Airlines have very little to offer other than ticket sales, marketing and not much more. Although as a gaduate you may have more scope than most.

The Singapore end of operations seems to demand a good deal of experience, do have a good look through the careers section of the website though.
