So Kat. How did the wind tunnel project turn out?

SMS,
Would you believe it, I was just typing up some of our observations before the final (hopefully) testing tonight!
Actually it has been a nightmare, I hope he gets a good mark! After the initial struggle to find the equipment (spent a fortune - balsa wood, super glue, knife, fan etc) we found that the planes just spun in the tunnel. So we have extended the pipe by sticking rolled up card to the end and are using wine bottle seperators to straighten out the air. Initially he was attaching the plane to the centre of the fan with string so now we have taped paper clips to the top and bottom of the pipe and are attaching that to the planes with reinforcement rings (usually used to strengthen paper in ring binder folders) We have tested this and are now using elevators on the wings but it seems to work. Last night we made 6 models to test tonight so fingers crossed.
Thanks for your help at the start, nice to know you're still thinking about it! Thought it was only me and my son who have become obssessed with aerodynamics!! (Which I knew nothing about to start with)
Kat.

Hi there
Been trying to make contact since my posting on vaccination but can't as I havn't posted enough (strange system). Anyway we have decided to make the move to Singapore with our unvaccinated child and maybe we could meet up sometime. I have only just read the rest of the comments on my posting. Vaccinating is such an indoctrinated part of our culture that we never think to question it. I have yet to find any convincing, accurate evidence that it works (what component is there is the training of doctors on researching vaccinations)? The only children in my current playgroup in the last 2 years to have measles and chickenpox have been the vaccinated ones....

Dropped the kids to school this am for their first day. They looked ever so smart and grown up in their uniforms !!! and so happy to go.Harder for me than them really but better that way.

Would have loved to meet up with everyone. Please keep me posted if the plan changes or when another meeting is set up.
