Freelance english tuition..

Post by nzder_in_singers » Thu, 19 Apr 2007 9:09 pm

This sounds rather dodgy but I am currently teaching in Singapore and was interested in some freelance work. I was wondering if anyone knows much about freelance eng tuition through a tuition centre....what are the risks??
Any info would be great!! Thanks...

if u register as MOE teacher,NIE u legal to teach.
Since u say u teaching be in sg.

If u teach for leisure, better teach adult.
For students mostly need qualified tutor/teacher,experience.

tks.

Hi nzder
I was wondering if you had any pointers as to how to find employment at a language school in Singapore. Or perhaps names of schools currently seeking to employ teachers?
I am from Norway and I possess over 15 years of experience teaching English. I am currently employed in BKK and I am not a Singapore PR.
Cheers

I may as well get on this band wagon as well!!

I am moving to SG to work in the financial sector however I would be happy to teach English in return with help of Japanese or Chinease as well.

I am from Scotland so therefor English is my only language.
