but usually there will be 1 or 2 FS ...

erm..12345...im flying already but still junior arh..
and u must have knowledge bt ur company!! if not how to survive...i still got so muchh to learn..

SNYs get to do 4 flights in total, 2 of each 744 and 777 flights.....mainly hongkong, sydney, narita, delhi, adelaide, seoul, auckland,bangkok-osaka...i forget wad else le.. =p

anyway i thought the training period is realy short...i remember i graduated in 3mths and 1 week time. =)
so for those who think they are underpaid....don be! cos by the 3rd mth of training..ul be doing training flights already..which means got income as well. :p
Hey! Thanks for the reply. I think u'll really succeed as an FA in the days to come! :)

I think now not comparing airline but even outside, it all boils down to work performances & luck also how u know how to 'wayang' and PR and 'zhuo ren'. Its a lot of factors and not only based on seniority.

some pple juz do not have the luck to be promoted... so quite sad la.. those who are good leaders and good workers, produce wonderful results and always complimented by pax sometime becos they 'choke' during the interview hence lose a promotion chance.
sorry ramz..i lazy to type. haha. but yah jsamills explained all. =p
if i remember correctly, there was a minimum of 5 years before FSS/FS can be promoted to LSS/LS?

roster

Post by SIA Cabin Crew Gal » Tue, 15 May 2007 12:32 am

Hi...

i just graduated fr STC and am still under probation.

i have been trained to operate on the 777-300ER aircraft.

For now this aircraft is used to travl to pretty kewl places like
milan, paris, zurich etc. So i get to enjoy the benefits of being trained early.

Well as for my roster,
Its got turnaraounds followed by 1 day off.

then some short night stops like sydney/brisbane/taipei/mumbai
also 1 day off after tht.

then 1 long flight like paris/london or seoul-san francisco(4 sector)
3 days off after tht

Got some standby days as well.
Almost 100% guarantee you'll be called up.
So far i've been called up all time excpt ONCE!

basically thts it
