HELP NEEDED!!

Postby paramax » Wed, 18 Apr 2007 10:59 am

Hi all,

I need some advise, will appreicate whoever that is able to help me.

I had a friend from PRC, she is here on student visa. Couple of weeks ago, she need to renew her visa at ICA, however due to her bad english, she was not granted the extension.

Who had encounter this before? Is there anyway that can help to change the situation?

She got to go back in a month time if there is no way to extend her visa. Please feel free to give useful comment.

Than in advance!

i doubt her bad english is the reason for the rejection. i m sure some of the officers speak mandarin.

maybe she can go to the prc embassy or high comm. for help.

cheers

Bro,

Thank for the advice.

Maybe I did not make myself clear, what I mean of her bad English is that she say the officer felt she had been here for a year, and her English is still really bad, that why they refused to renew her visa, as they think she is not really taking the opportunity to learn here.
